Horrible game where Real played football with little ideas and imagination against an average Espanyol team. As such there should be no highlights as there is nothing to highlight, let us forget this one quickly !!

Here are the culprits:

Capello:

The fact that Real Madrid's attacks were badly coordinated and badly supported in numbers was down to the negative approach that Capello has imposed on this team.

Robinho:

Looked hugely unhappy in his game, the luck of movement around him made him grow impatient and he never enjoyed his football. The result was a booking and a depressed look when he got subbed.

Reyes:

Did very little to justify his move to Real Madrid. Bring back Baptista.

Guti

Made many bad choices with the ball which resulted in loosing the ball alot in the midfield. Should be dropped.
